Just wondering how many of you have under wear packed away in your preps more than a few days work
Preparedness is like a condom , I've rather have it and not need it, rather than need it and not have it
I debated on answering this
I have a least a months worth in multi sizes. That is a month's worth in each size. Because I know how my body reacts in various stressful events, I have no choice but to maintain 3 sets of sizes for everything. I have my "omg I have lost too much weight" clothes, I have my regular size clothes and I have my "I really need to stop eating so much clothes". I have worked with a lot of women over the years and have found most of them do the same thing. Add to that the dress clothes, the work clothes, the just hanging around the house clothes and all the seasons - it makes for a large amount of clothing 😳
I have no clue if guys have the same issue with changing of sizes.
Underwear? What are underwear?
Im a big believer in Liberty. Its just a little different than what other people think liberty is. While I work on dehydrating wind fall apples into winter pig food on this hot day...I may not even wear pants.... 😎
I have a Tactical Harness and I have a Tool Belt. The Tool Belt is more Useful.
I too debated on posting but after reading both Denobs’ and C5s’ post I just had to. I laughed so hard. You are both horrible. Still laughing…..
You know I was not sure to post this but now I'm glad I did lol

Sooo. Inspite of my Free Willy approach....store underwear. Im going on a motorcycle ride fore the week. That means I will be in the same jeans for a week. Flesh eating Crotch itch is no joke though people need to get over their "Unclean!" obsessiveness. Its fare more important for a cold winter without central heat, where you may go to sleep fully clothed in your favorite wool pants that you don't want to get out of...for a month. Especially if you are wearing them over your favorite poliprop longjohns. Polypropylene is hard on keeping fungus free. If you cant change your pants, change your underwear. More important than the underwear you may never get to change in a crisis, STORE Clotrimazole topical cream to knock back fungus. No one thinks of putting that in their bug out bag/ I am now a homeless person bag/ I'm now a refugee bag.
Far more important is storing socks. When I lived in the bus without running water...I owned a lot of socks. If you can only do washing every month or so whether you need to or not....its a big smelly bag of socks. Socks get destroyed. Collect lots of them. Second hand stores. Cheap...because no one wants second hand socks.
Summer? River pants...to fly free and easy. If you need a quick wash, just jump into the river for a cooling dip to wash the pants and whisk away fungus. The better quality ones dry fast. Somewhere along the apocalypse I may switch to a Kilt but I don't mind exposing myself to nature.
Thanks for asking about my crotch. I'm very fond of it. I hope you like yours too.
