just got back from a wedding on the island ,cousin got married to a pretty native woman. started talking to her uncle about fishing and hunting on the island ,he told me lots of deer, i saw that, and elk.but he started telling me a story about a few of his freinds that stopped eating the ocean fish, he said they got mercury poisoning .he also said they get junk washing up on shore from japan still.mercury or raidiation poisoning im wondering ❓ any thoughts...
Not sure on the issues as stated, but Big Brother's best friend is married to a gal from a reserve and private owned land on Vancouver island and went out for a week long fishing trip, came home with lots of fish, as did the rest, no issues where talked about at the tribe or with the host's family that had been using that area for generations.
I will ask if they heard anything on the grapevine.
