I was just made aware that a group in Edmonton is arranging 2 speakers under their Warrior Development Serie. I attended the lecture from LtCol Grossman last year and he is an excellent speaker. I truly enjoyed his day-long presentation and I would highly recommend it for warrior-minded Preppers or any soldiers and police officers. Info is available here : http://urbancombat.ca/warrior-development-series/ .

Having listened to LtCol Grossman last year, I may be attending Col McKnight this year.

I am guessing it is more of a lecture than a hands on training deal. I rather do real drills and simulation. A mix of classroom and field practical would be more exciting to attend.

It's not simulations or drills, but its not lecture either (as in its not a class). It's an opportunity to hear an experienced scholar on warrior mindset (and by extension, survival mindset). Then again, though I not 100% familiar with their institution, the group that puts those 2 days of guest speakers is called Urban Combat Specialists Group. Maybe they have something more up your alley.

Thanks for the heads up. I just want to practice more on the side with urban ops, elude and evasion tactics. I have had basic classes on this before and I am hungry for more.
