I would like to thank all our speakers and contributers,gc-mountainman,blacksheep and dangphool...It was a huge sucsess with 36 people attending with a least a dozen new faces....We will look to do this in the new year perhaps mid January.......I was very happy to see attandee's bringing there little ones and young attendee's ...Again thanks to everyone for coming out and hopefully we will see you in January.....

This was a very fine and informative meeting and very well organized. Thanks to the attendees who answered questions we, (my wife & I) had that we were unable to answer through our own research.
We picked up one of those Back Road Map atlases that were at Wal Mart right after the meeting.
My first meeting; it was a great meeting; thank you for all the useful tips. It was particularly useful (and brave!) for experienced preppers to share their lessons learned and admit their mistakes There are two items to add to my bug out bag, and a couple of other things I have been putting off acquiring that I will be picking up in the near future.
Look forward to attending future meetings.

Just giving an update for our next meeting . We are looking at having an Emergency Preparedness Seminar sometime in February, An exact date is not confirmed but we should have that posted and nailed down by mid December, after our next speaker and Volunteer Instructor meeting . This will be to hammer out a structured agenda..
We will be posting the exact Agenda and our speakers with the meeting time, and location.... Stay tuned

Having been out of the loop for quite a while, I am glad to see you are all progressing nicely and based on the #s of people it seems to be growing nicely.

Yes, we will be posting here on the Alberta portion of the forums. It won't be in this thread as we start a new thread for each meeting date so that the time and location don't get confused with previous meetings.
Watch for thread headings that refer to the "January" or "February" Emergency Preparedness Alberta meeting. I'm only paraphrasing but it will sound something like that.
