Tonights feast: 22lb of homegrown Alberta prime 7 rib roast - nothing done to it. People who tamper with such perfection are either morons or insulting God. I've seen this tragedy too often. Attempting to enhance this is like pouring water into a fine single malt. Ruins it. Medium heat in a Big Green Egg indirectly with fired lump coal for 3 hours, let stand for 20 minutes and carve. For sides... A few lbs of Fried Calamari. For you barbarians, I'm not talking about that worthless restaurant calamari which I would only use as bait to catch real seafood. I'm talking calamari where 2 cuts is equal to the mass of an entire large calamari dish the uncivilized are accustomed to. And a Greek salad. Genuine of course. Loaded with Kalamata olives. Oh, and Manouri cheese. The above enjoyed with Crown Royal. I know, it's not a fancy single malt, but still a great spirit you must admit. And the purple pouch bags are simply useful for storing silver coins safe. You know, about a decade ago the straw that broke the camel's back as far as me rejecting television completely is when I witnessed a great tragedy. It was the Iron Chef program on Food Network. Now, the Japanese love everything that comes from the sea, but sometimes they really screw up the preparation. They took two gorgeous red snappers, and destroyed them by 1. boiling it in some nasty as piss broth that would instantly trigger the vomit/gag reflex 2. using the remainder to create an ice cream. Heathens! That's the same kind of criminal abuse as taking a great cut of Kobe beef and burning it extra well-done til it has a leather consistency then serving it slathered in sour cream.Let's see what you folks are putting on the grill.....

Lol, Dammit, this thread is making me hungry. Question on this though, as I've never used a dehydrator before, could you cut up some of the beef roasts on here into small pieces and dehydrate for storage for later?
