My calendar goes to Dec 31 so we're okay. I'm hoping that Kijiji will have some deals as these people get rid of the stuff they have prepped with. For me, it will be just another Friday night

I seriously believe that nothing will happen, however, whenever someone yells "DOOMSDAY" cults and fanatics all over the world start downing the magic coolaid. Anyone who contributes to this ridiculous crap should be held legally responsible for the deaths of all those people.

Why do people go to horror movies and read horror novels. Because they want to be scared. We will always fear TEOTWAWKI, or the end of the world, the Rapture, Armageddon. We fear what might happen, we fear what might not happen. So people are going to go into great debt, for their one last fling. Others will spend massive amounts on supplies and shelter. Others, called peppers will set back supplies that is on sale, that they continually use (or should) and do the BAU (business as Usual) routine until the signs say GOOD. If it does happen, and you see some old tinker on the road leading a mule and wagon, that might be me. [ ], O, /_

A while back (true story) there was a guy who crossed continents with just a donkey for transport. He had been just about all round the world. While on his North American "tour" he passed through Sudbury. While in the vicinity of Sudbury his donkey was shot. Some idiot thought it was a moose. 👿
