Yes...I saw these at the Survival Expo.
They look great and I will definitely be looking harder into them when we begin to build the next house.
yeah im looking in to this for my new trailer ,power goes out i wont freeze ,i like the water heater option . plus i wont have to get stuck in the snow or asking myself should i chain up witch is always fun in the snow.

These wise way stoves are working very well I just did some research and contacted some people who have them in the Yukon and Northwest Territories. Great for greenhouses as well

It is. Tends to be in more rural places.
$2,6000+ tx yikes. And I understand it only burns pellets - it wouldn't burn wood I could harvest around the property. So after a while,mint would just become an ornament.

I came across a pellet mill a few years ago, that intrigued me. It's primary service was to make pellets from grass.

I have only seen one Youtube video on a pellet stove burning grass pellets, the conclusion was that they burned as well as any other fuel, but tended to leave more ash/silica behind. Is a stove, dependent on pellets, a good idea for the long term? I guess that depends on how much fuel you've got stored, and how long you think you'd have to go without being able to restock. My inclination is to avoid the circumstance altogether, simply buy/build something that will burn a split log. Masonryheaters look particularly appealing to me, if you are able to invest the time & effort & space. Even good steel woodstoves burn out over time.
