To the administrator or moderator:
I'd like to request permission to reprint your BCPN seal, as a symbol of association between BC and Whatcom County in Washington State (US). I want to be able to show people south of BC that we can and are connected by proximity and common goals. (We have BC members in the Whatcom County Preppers Group as we speak.) As a member---and by permission, I already display the APN and WPN seal with our Whatcom County Preppers Group to show a unity in our networking with others. I'd like to include BC.
In the event this is possible, please send me a clear digital copy for display.
Many thanks,
Richard Martin
(If necessary, please direct this post to the proper person for this, since I don't know who that is!)
Hi Alternate,
we are always happy to partner up with other prepper groups.
Perhaps you can post a link back to us at www.canadianpreppersnetwork.net
I will email you the seal.
Thanks.

Absolutely! I had a few people asking me today (at the Whatcom Skillshare Faire, where we proudly displayed the BCPN logo!)..."if a[n appilcable] natural disaster were to happen in BC (hypothetical,.....and they didn't specify), would that mean that several BC residents would evacuate south to the US?"
It wasn't a matter of "complaint", but instead a curiosity. Obviously, it would depend on the type of disaster of course, but I wanted to get a feel for that hypothetical from you guys. Perhaps it could instead be asked, "If there were an earthquake, tsunami and subsequent flood of the coastal Vancouver area, where would residents mostly evacuate to?"
I've had some BC residents tell me that several would indeed go south to the US.
Thanks guys! Very happy to be here. 😀
PS: There is an American group called A.N.T.S. (Americans Networking To Survive). It is essentially a network of preppers that (in the event of a natural or man-made disaster) would volunteer supplies and assistance to those preppers who need it along the way to their evacuation destinations. It's not a group that necessarily meets. It's an agreement to help others along their evacuation routes if they are caught off guard or something takes place that creates a need for assistance. So, If I were to evacuate Blaine (for example) to go southward to say, Portland, Oregon, A.N.T.S. members who might be situated along the route (or near the route) would be available to help with missing or needed supplies to get us through on the way to the destination, if needed. The Whatcom County Preppers Group are the northernmost situated ANTS contact along Interstate 5 in the US. If BC had something similar, we could coordinate the same sort of network for those BC residents forced south. Kick it around a bit and see what you think. 💡
