Well I was a bit disappointed with the knee jerk reaction of Surrey counsel on the sale of ammo and hand guns.
I wasn't looking to buy a hand gun, I just wanted the right to buy one. I have my PALR and I have my level I, II, III hand gun proficiency certification.
Most fire arms vendor make their money selling ammo at these shows not on hand guns. They should have left the sale of ammo alone as far as I'm concerned.
On the other hand got a great deal on a fishing rod and real 😀

It was extremely disappointing & very sad to see the council cave on this, out of "concern" for "gang violence".
Pretty sure gang members aren't getting their guns from legal sources. Once again, law abiding citizens suffer the consequences of the actions of those who chose to break the law. Shameful.

Keeping people from legally purchasing ammo and handguns won't stop gun violence. In fact, if they pass the S-223 bill, there will be up to 1.8 million more criminals, if they don't hand in their guns, without compensation. I have yet to find anyone who will be willing to give up their legally acquired firearms, to Trudeau, because authorities can't get a handle on gang violence. Violence will just escalate when they come kicking in everyone's doors to look for firearms that weren't handed over. Remember High River? I bet the people there will be doing things a bit differently, when the next flood hits.
