Hi Gang
Well last weekend I had the privilege to organize and coordinate a Night Hike for the Three Rivers Area of Scouts Canada (Mission, Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows) This Night Hike is exactly what the name implies, hiking on the dykes in Pitt Meadows from Jerry Sulina Park to the Pitt River Bridge. All along the route there where activity stations for the youth to explore. We had all sorts of community organizations presenting activities at these stations. From the Maple Ridge Recycling Society, A.R.M.S, Scouting, Guiding, Maple Ridge Search & Rescue, Emergency Social Service, Citizens Bicycle Patrol. Getting involved in your community will get you lots of contacts. So think about it you will meet lots of people, learn new skills and have fun doing it.
