Just wanted to say Hi.. I have been reading this site for awhile and find lots of good stuff to think about and good advice to follow... Aside from the very strange weather we've been having, our garden grows and our preparedness continues... Garlic need about 4 more days and its done.. We are blessed with days to prepare and enjoy... take care all

The kootenays are a great area to be in if the shtf.. I am a little close to the border but will take my chances because of the climate and people in the area.. There are lots of independent, self reliant folks here that live a prepper lifestyle as an everyday way of life..

Thats good to know. I have been thinking about the Kootenays or the Cariboo as a place to relocate to. Its nice to hear that there are a lot of people with our mindset in that area
