Hey! Alright, so this isn't really my first post, but I thought I would introduce myself to anyone who hasn't or won't read the meetup post.
Callsign is Hammer. I'm just starting to prep, though in some ways I've been prepping since I was 12. I am a retired Cadet (The cadet program ends at age 19) and an avid marksman and aviator. I'm also a pretty heavy gamer, playing PC and Xbox games a lot. I have extensive experience in basic survival in the Lower Mainland terrain and conditions, and I'm a fairly good shot with a rifle. I've always considered worst-case scenarios to be the basis for pursuing training or experience, and have geared my non-directed learning around that concept.
Oh, and you can never have too many knives.
So, if you want to say HI! I'm right here, and maybe if there's someone in the area who wants to meet up, maybe run some drills or do some continuing training or learning, let me know! On a really tight budget right now as I'm presently unemployed, but I can usually find a workaround for most problems.

hi there hammer, im from the lower mainland, good to have you on here. i was in cadets when i was a kid, it was fun wish i would have stuck with it. it never hurts to have pratical skills, being a good shot just happens to be one of those skills.

Hey Hammer, good to hear from you. I'm from the lower mainland too, and would love to have a meet up, maybe some kind of collective where some skills and trades can be learned/exchanged. I know there's a meeting happening in Coquitlam coming up in a week or so if you can get over.

Yeah, there is. Unfortunately I'll be out of town pursuing employment. Though to be fair, it's a Prepper's dream job. lol. I have an interview at a Cabela's!
