Well I learned something over the wee end. Did you know that when the finally crunch comes to finishing a construction project that latterly thousands of dollars worth of stuff is just tossed out in to the big haul away bin.
I got lucky I asked if I could take stuff from the bin and the superintendent said help your self, don't get hurt. 2x4's, sheets of plywood. box of nails, two boxes of 3" screws, two propane heater sand as I was about to leave some guy asked me if I wanted a propane tank? I said sure, he and two others loaded a brand new and full 100lb tank into the back of my pick up. Oh and a box of 20x30 blue tarps. Some times you just have to ask. From now on I'm going to keep an eye on construction sites. Oh and my buddy got two 45 gal barrels of kerosene and three heaters to go with it the other day.

Sweet deal!
My boss let's us take anything that gets thrown out at the factory plus free wood pallets that they have to pay for someone else to take. Never hurts to ask!

Good to know .
Grumpy Bear, sweet deal buddy! Yup, people would be surprised what they could get by simply asking.
