For a Grumpy Bear, you at least make sense. 😀

It is hard to get folks past the "Deer in the headlights" routine. Most are just observers and have such built into their DNA somehow. They watch but don't react unless someone is standing there giving them orders. It somehow doesn't compute because it doesn't fit their routine that they are so comfortable with.

Often in ambulance the victims are in a state of shock and are therefore somewhat excused from reality, but some observers who pass by often don't wish to help when asked and freeze up if prodded to assist. I never wasted much time on these folks as they'd just get in the way anyhow and ask another instead. This occurs often during MVA's (motor vehicle accidents) as there are often more victims then medical personnel. But when desperate, some are useful and even those who initially froze can be useful when given simple direction.

I also agree with many that our government will crack down once again and punish the masses for the actions of extremists. Those bleeding heart reformists that conclude the world is safer if we were all sheeple (without weapons), and also assume that they will somehow be first in line over the masses. They never consider that the wolves will usually prey on the fattest and slowest at the front first as they are the easiest prey. (and they would share lunch only if yours is better) 🙄

We should all be willing to be example and share knowledge with those who will listen as we will all need fellow supporters who are of moral conscience to oppose those who will promote anarchy as the new way in a SHTF scenario.
