When is that next Chilliwack Meeting

Gonna try and get the in-laws out. Wife is coming down that weekend so should help.

I would be interested in chatting with something closer to home (mission)

The date here doesnt work for me as I always have stuff going on Saturday mornings.

Any one making plans for the next meeting yet? My in-laws are in Mission and would like to make it too. They are not overly fond of any list that might get them noticed by big brother. Father-in-law grew up in Nazi oppressed Germany so it is kinda easy to understand. I might be able to pm his email to anyone in Mission area who would like to meet up as start a more local network as it is easier to reach in the event of an emergency.

Mountainjane, There are a bunch of us from Mission that participate. In fact, the majority of the last meet were from Mission. Gotta have a central meeting place for everyone.

Do you think we should change the topic from "When is that next Chilliwack Meeting" to "When is that next Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, Langley Meeting?" to cover a few more metro areas, or maybe "When is that next Lower Main Land Meeting" to cover everyone from Vancouver to Hope? or, "When is that International Preppers Meeting, eh" Since we have a few of our friends from the US of A interested? and it will be in Canada (this time) hence the 'eh' at the end.

Can the topic actually be changed?

I don't want to discourage anyone from Langley or Delta from coming if they only see the Chilliwack notation in the title, and assume it is way out in Chilliwack and too far to drive, for them. Is it appropriate to post a different topic stating there is a meeting in Abby for anyone on the planet interested in coming? Then, have the first comment direct everyone to the "When is that next Chilliwack Meeting".

I think that would be a great idea to change the posting title. Maybe something like Fraser Valley Preppers or something? My take on the Lower Mainland location is more inwards towards the coastline but thats just my take on it.

Im sure there are other possibilities but singling it out to Chilliwack is definitely not reflective so I think thats the way to go as well 😀

Any Fraser Valley meetings in the works for May? I'm coming down from Quesnel and would like to meet up with some preppers in that area well I am down.

There is one at Mill Lake on May 5. The city of Abbotsford is having a Emergency Preparation Day there at the same time.
