Hi, Is there a meeting time and day set up in the near future. Gonna try my hardest to make it to one. Would very much enjoy sharing ideas and thoughts.
Not at the moment, I'm heading back to the coast for a couple of weeks and am thinking about trying to arrange something around the time I return.

Right now seems too busy to make specific plans, middle of planting season with lots of weather interruptions. But I would gladly donate my place in Wl as a meeting place when things settle down in about two weeks.
Would work for me, I am hoping to be coming back through about then. But , I've got to see how things pan out here before I can make any plans too.

Hello Williams Lake, from the west coast. I would love to kick some life into this thread. I am a prepper/homesteader that has been oogling your area for some time now. Never been there, and dont know anyone there, so I was hoping to chat with you folks about all things homestead before I make the big land purchase. Ive researched climate, terrain, land cost, economy, etc etc in most of BC and the pin in the map keeps coming back to Williams Lake. Hope to here from someone. Cheers.
I live about 90 min north in Quesnel, but the wl area is very nice and has lots of potential for us preppers. Let me know if you are planning a trip up for a look. Aaron is in the WL area and a great guy to meet up with as he is in contact with a couple of others in the area. Not sure if he is active on the board or not but I can pass on any info regarding a trip if that helps. I am down that way, but infrequently but might be able to make a trip down to meet up too.

Hey there stormgypsy. Yes I'm still around on this thread but lately have been more of an observer rather than a poster. I am in Williams Lake area and am always looking to meet more like minded people. If you are ever in the area, and I strongly encourage you to check it out, then please give me a heads up. Hi,gotta wonder why we all have the lone wolf mentality?. I've been in the military and have done 72+hr of sleep deprivation, interesting results. So imagine trying to stay alive alone.
