On August 13, 2013 retired Senator Sheldon R. Songstad of South Dakota issued a national update on ongoing FEMA preparations specifying Region 3 (the DC area and surrounding states), to be accomplished by October 1st. A partial list of mandates includes millions of dollars worth of MRE and heater meals and millions of emergency water pouches, (along with massive quantities of antibiotics for the MERS corona virus), all to be delivered by October 1st. Vast quantities of military equipment, vehicles, weapons and ammo have also been ordered and are to be delivered - by October 1st. Beginning the 4th week of July, 380,000 UN peacekeeping troops in CONUS are to be in active training to learn URBAN warfare, (Urban! Why urban???), English AND US weapons systems. Also, a mandate has gone out for (around) 300 school systems to receive 3 day (emergency) kits for EACH student to "take with them". All shipments are scheduled for the month of September. The interested reader can readily research this thru numerous sources online and on Youtube. It IS credible. So what do "they" know that we don't??? What is supposed to happen on or around October 1st? Makes one wonder. Keep actively prepping as much as possible for whatever is "on the table" for us. It's also critical to be WELL informed. Don't take everything the TV media is feeding you at face value. Be a critical thinker. Question. You are not being told the facts, only what they want you to know and believe. There is a wealth of credible resources online to help you "read between the lines" and see the facts, folks. Knowledge will be a critical and invaluable weapon for you and your family's survival. Anyone who claims that the government is planning to use HAARP to control our minds and make us believe that aliens are killing us when it is actually "them" is a cook and deserves no attention whatsoever!

which 300 school systems are receiving 3 day kits and for how many students?
Do we have purchase orders for the MRE's and antibiotics?
Please be specific on the vast quantities of military equipment, vehicles, weapons and ammo...what equipment, which vehicles, what weapons and what ammo?
And I also wonder how a retired Senator got this info and what source did he use to leak this info?
Sorry, but I need details to believe stuff like this, and not some you tube guy either...credible, or at least somewhat believable.
Hey Matt619 , that is how I feel about those who use a nuclear fed grid paying for energy that supports that industry or whom make money off of it. But maybe some conclusions are being made here that are not absolute . What if it is a preparation for the grid down exercise and preparations are being put in place to ensure any people impacted are not put in harms way ?
I received an email today regarding a worldwide caution for terrorist activity.
Now, not wanting to dive in head first, I figured I would check it out.
The warning was in reference to the US Bureau of Consulate Affairs.
I checked out the web site and found the same warning posted there...word for word.

Again, not wanting to dive in, I thought I would check out NTAS (National Terrorism Advisory System) and found no alerts there at this time.
Now, the warning that is valid relates mostly to travelers and foreign diplomats, but the warning does state the following.
"Extremists may elect to use conventional or non-conventional weapons, and target both official and private interests. Examples of such targets include high-profile sporting events, residential areas, business offices, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, schools, public areas, shopping malls, and other tourist destinations both in the United States and abroad where U.S. citizens gather in large numbers, including during holidays."
Given recent incidents globally as well as the potential Fema region 3 issue, perhaps we should all be on the lookout for a near future event...

You all know me very well when it comes to not panicking and taking peoples' word at face value without checking things out.
