❓ How many of you have cans/jars of prepared baby foods, even if you don't have babies? Great compact size nutrition in the way of fruit, vegetables, meats etc. Also make good barter items for those with infants, including powdered formula.

Made just for babies, no, lots of canned goods that could in fact be used for baby food in a pinch-yes, My smallest jars are typically pints with most things in quart jars, but I guess picking up a few cases worth of the smaller jars and lids might not be a bad idea in case you ever needed the smaller sizes.

Babies can eat regular people food when they start solids around 6 months old, so no need to store those little 'baby food' commercial jars. Breastfeeding is best anyway and in a SHTF situation, bottle feeding mothers CAN relactate to produce breastmilk to feed their babies.
