I thought I would be smart and do up some meatballs with the sauce and put them in the freezer however I noticed that even after a few days the sauce had not frozen. There is vinegar in the sauce - could that be the cause?

It is only that one type of sauce, the rest are fine. It is "slushy" just not frozen solid.
