Just curious, but are there areas in the US or Canada, that are experiencing Phosphorus deficiencies in cows?
At the moment NZ Vets are seeing more cases of Phosphorus depletion, probable because of the droughts last Summer and Autumn. Not usual because our soils are not low in it and farmers generally spread phosphate fertiliser.
Apparently more common in dry environments such as Yemen, northern Australia and South Africa.
I already noticed 17 odd years back, when we still had the farm, that there was a definite season shift, the Sun had more sting (ozone layer depletion over Antarctica), the climate was getting warmer and more rain. Could be cyclicle of course.????
We are in a "drought-safe" region, but last summer we couldn't wash down the house prior to painting because of a total hosing ban!
