Here's a really excellent permaculture site which offers videos of a complete permaculture course by Bill Mollison. Anyone want to do a little study of them - ie watch a video and share some thoughts or ideas, then watch the next?? The reason I suggest that is because it might help me to follow through with the program! We could do it crash course style - a video every other day til done, except I'm going away this Friday through Monday inclusive.

Yes, I'd like to but this is a pretty busy time of year for me...........maybe it would be a good 'late fall' project (November?)
would love to but not sure I can afford the data loss for watching the video;s, hope some takes you up on it and I can follow the chat..

You're right, PrepHer, maybe late fall, but rather Octoberish than Nov. Farmgal - I don't understand what you mean about the data loss. You don't have to download the videos, you can watch them online. As for the discussion, we can keep it simple, just a motivation to follow through and complete the whole program which is usually taught in 2 weeks. I think it's a treasure to have it right from the horse's mouth, and FREE at that, Bill Mollison being one of the founders of permaculture.
Thankyou gals for responding to the idea, it's encouraging.
I will watch if we could maybe agree to go at a bit slower pace rather than every second day ? I love watching permaculture videos but it is that time of year with oh so much on the go .
In order to watch a video online, you have to use so much data for each min of video, I have a very limited country plan (at a very already high cost), what I meant is, if I watched a video a every other day, I could depending on what each movie cost, end up using my whole months work of data in a matter of days.
I agree with everything you have to say, I do think its a great idea and I think learning it is awesome, I just need to figure out if I can get to a outside data source that I can download and watch the seminars from, other then my own and if so, how to do it as regular as you are asking for.

Oh, now I see what you're talking about Farmgal. We don't have to go that fast at all. I'm open to suggestions if anyone wants to chime in - how quickly to go through the videos and when to start. If we went through them slower, we could maybe start sooner as it wouldn't be so taxing.
