post 'em, if you got 'em

-place seed packets in a vac seal bag, place crumpled coffee filters all around the packs (top, bottom, & sides),
and seal (say a years worth of seeds in each bag to make it easy)
-if you don't have a vac sealer, place seeds in a good ziplock freezer bag,
and simply suck the air out as best as you can and seal the bag

-place seeds in an appropriate sized plastic container/bucket (just big enough to stuff your bags in) with a good a good lid
-use an opaque bucket/container

-get some empty tea bags, you can usually find them in the coffee/tea aisle or places that sell loose leaf tea (1 cup ones are good)
-place 2-3 tablespoons of dried milk in a few bags and tape the tab over, so the milk does not spill out (add more bags for larger containers)
-place bags in your bucket/container and securely fasten lid

-store bucket/container in a cool, dry, dark place

seed viability table found here: http://growingtaste.com/storage.shtml
remember the years given only indicates when viability begins to take a hit
test viability & sow more

And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her;
for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones,...
and slaves, and souls of men.

I've always stored my seeds wrapped in aluminium foil and placed inside recyled amber glass jars & vitamin tab bottles (tightly capped) with an absorber, write the dates on them, and keep in a cool, dry, dark place. They remain viable for many years. I do a germination test before each sowing season to ensure viability & usually get at least 98% will germinate, but generally depends on the type of seed and it's life expectancy.
