Hey Everyone. We are in the works to put together a sustainability conference and would love everyone's input as to what you would like to have there in terms of speakers, topics, events, etc. Please help us make this the best event ever!

I see you want a meeting in Red Deer or Alberta
edit: would an online meeting not be better, as most are provinces apart, and with the coming spring summer fall, most are very busy?
In support of the last post, I too would like more information on who you are and how this conference is being organized as I am cautiously interested.
What would you care to know? I have been a prepper for a number of years, Private security contractor, Currently run a successful business for the last 16 years, care about my community and have organised smaller level events for it, Have worked with my municipality to take disaster planning more serious and one of the only people it seems that is willing to put his time where his mouth is to get something together for the masses. I have been to a number of prepping conferences in the states and figure it is time to get something of our own. I have contacted local prepping based business's and have gotten a number of them on board as well. I am going to contact a few manufactures and see if they would like to help sponsor something to help offload a substantial cost on me to get an event together. I am not interested in talking about a failing government or currency debasing etc. It will be a Self Sustainability conference / expo highlighting different products and Ideas to help us. Better canning solutions, food storage solutions, Security solutions, breakout rooms, Gardening from experts, and so forth, with the ability to meet people from all different areas and share a common goal. I would like to start it in Alberta as that is my home Provence and if it receives enough momentum take it to other provinces as well. But without the support of the other people in the country willing to travel a bit for the first year or two, it will just remain local. Besides all that, I simply asked for Ideas and what people would want. There is no OPSEC issue in that what so ever so feel free to add a few suggestions.
