I am not a member of Costco but I do go occasionally with my sister. I don't go often enough to have a good grasp of things there so I have some questions.

Fist off - someone mentioned in another post that they purchase Thrive Food there. Is it available right in the store or can you only order it online? Second how does the price compare? I noticed on Thrive websites that its a multi level marketing company...so I was surprised that costco carried the brand.

Also: do you have any particular items that you have done cost comparisons on at Costco that win hands down or have other attributes that make buying them at Costco the way to go?

For example: In the past I have purchased boxed instant potatoes that were simply dried potato and salt - I have been unable to find that anywhere else at any price.

OK Costco shoppers - tell me your secrets 🙂

You really have to cost caompare at Costco...go with a calculator.
The one item that I have on my list for the next trip is sugar...I think a 10 kg bag or something like that. Anyways, I remember it was the best deal for sugar I had ever found.
Sometimes you find really great deals, but you have to go up and down the aisles...and remember what you get things for on sale at your regular grocery store.

I haven't seen Thrive in the store but it seems like a decent price online.
Strangely enough I see locally produced food at the one near us. Some vegetables but I always keep my eye out for the local walleye fillets.
