I'm not a huge TV watcher but do enjoy historical documentaries etc especially if related to how things were once done. Starting 7 Jan TVO will air the British series Wartime Farm http://ww3.tvo.org/video/186251/wartime-farm-preview . This may prove interesting in regards to how people dealt with food rationing, fuel shortages etc and the requirement to become more self sufficient. Lessons learned - sound familiar?
My husband and I watched the Victorian Farm series and found it very interesting.
Any one else know of any other interesting shows, documentaries etc worth watching for the prepper inclined, if so please list!
Thanks!
Thanks for the heads up, I love those kinds of shows.
If your home library contains more volumes about survival-related topics than your local public library, you might be a prepper.

I saw the Victorian Farm and Edwardian Farm series. They were pretty good.
wathced these also and the victorian kitchen...wonderful shows..then there were some other british ones from the 1800's
loved victorian farm and the pharmacy, although geared for a TV audience still valuable to see practices in action.
