I am sure most of you have heard by now that Justin Trudeau is going to run for the Liberal leadership. Just seeing a picture of that smarmy, arrogant little (incert word of your choice) causes my blood pressure to rise. If ever there was a poster child to hold up as a symbol of the 'entitled', it is Justin. I do hope even the Liberal party members can see him for what he is.............. but I won't hold my breath. And just when you thought politics could not get any worse. 😡
Let no good deed go unpunished.
Personally I hope he gets it. It will be a high profile example to the general public of this party's irrellevancy in the current climate of opposition to everything the Liberals have done and continue to stand for. There has been a shift in Canadian politics at a base level that even the liberal media can't hide and the Liberals are so far removed they are on Mars.
It will be interesting, I can't say I like him but I was amused to here him be qouted as saying that he would look to whatever party or left or right leaning to get a workable answer, I have to admit that I don't think I have heard that one before..

I wish I could remember her name, But a Liberal spokesperson being interviewed on Sun News a week ago or so defended his lac of "finishing" things he starts, and lac of experience in politics by saying, "he surprised people with his boxing match" and that "just the fact that conservatives and libertarians didn't like him made her like him even more." If this is the best they've got to run on, they don't stand a chance. He'll have to merge NDP and Liberals, which she was also okay with. It's the only way the Liberal party will not die a slow death.
IF he is anything like his dad and gets to be Prime Minister we will be ruined inside of 6 years.
His dad was very nice when I met him but I was too young to really understand politics at the time
In this political climate, I'm an "anything but" voter.
I'll vote for anyone that has a chance at beating the conservative in my riding. I'd prefer that person to be a liberal, but I'd take an NDP candidate if I had to.
I just plain hate the conservative party that much.
If Justin Trudeau ran in my riding, he'd have my vote.
Not to get into a huge political debate...but what exactly do you hate that much about the Conservatives? Just really curious.

All politicians are nice. 🙂
Well, in my humble opinion, Conservatives generally are:
Arrogant - in thinking that they are morally superior to anyone.
Controlled - by special interest groups intent on sucking the country dry of resources and pooling all the money at the top.
Hey, in the end it likely won't matter whether you're red or blue. But at least Liberals or NDP's preach some level of support for the working class and at least tolerance.
The only thing I like about the Conservatives are their gun laws.
Hmmmm... I can see the support for the working class of the Ontario Liberals.... thats working out real well. LMAO!!!! All politcal parties are in it for their own good. They only play the cards that they believe will give them what they want. Liberal phylosophy has made our current society what it is today. None of them give a rats a_ _ about you or I. We are just income generators for them. The best part of an "event" will be the possible shakeup of the higher levels of society. If / When it happens that big house and big car and big office won't be worth crap. It'll look good on them.
Don't blame all our woe's on the Ontario Liberals. They are best viewed as "middle management". As such, they get screwed from both ends.
Things in Canada began to take a crap back when the auto pact was torn up and the NAFTA agreement came into effect. We've been "taking on water" ever since.
Countries are like ocean liners. Big, heavy and full of momentum. Holes in the hull and course corrections take time to impact the ship.
Make no mistake though, we're going down, and it matters little who's at the helm right now. At least the Liberals would be in favor of passing out life jackets to everyone, not just the ultra rich.
Personally I can't stand politicians of all walks. The only positive thing that has happened in my lifetime that did not negatively impact me.............. and was in fact a benefit............. is the recent squashing of the long-gun registry. Everything else, regardless of party has been a negative that has slowly eroded my disposable income. When any of the parties make these amazing tax cuts that happen periodically, it usually is some outstanding achievement that means an extra $20 in my pocket per month, while relieving me of it x3 with some other new changes.
Two lowest forms of human life............ lawyers and politicians, and a lot of the time they are both.

Avoiding any political bias don't you think the name Trudeau is well, just so Canadian? It's like hockey, it gives you a warm feeling and almost every Canadian can relate to it.
