There are only 5 months until Christmas 
I just had a cold shiver run up my back. The year is FLYING along!
Look on the bright side only 148 days left until December 21st 2012. Gotta love those Mayans.

Due to low income, the commercial Christmas is canceled.

I cancelled the Commercial christmas at my house a number of years ago but we have family christmas box's, we draw names, so that does help greatly as you don't have to do the whole family but we do all the little ones as well, and that is my family, on the in-laws side, thankfully its down to my mother in law only, but she goes all out.

We tend to buy items when we find them on sale all through the year...sometimes even on boxing day for the next year. We already have a lot of stuff put away for Christmas and will be buying most of the holiday food on credit card points. So far we have over $150.00 of free food available.
You can cancel Christmas but the spirit remains.
The Spirit of Christmas is the whole point, isn't it??
I, personally hate the commercialization of Christmas. BUY! BUY! BUY!
A re-balancing of all things and a return of simpler times?? Is that this year's Christmas gift to the world??
Soon we see if the Mayan's were right or the experts were wrong at reading the calender.
