Being more of a bargain hunter than dollar cost averaging type I've been riding the curve for the past few weeks hoping to catch a good price before it goes up again, or if I'm really lucky, after it goes down. Today I finally committed to a purchase, now to wait and see what happens over the next few days and weeks
So are there any other stackers out there and how are you working your additions at this point.

I have to admit I'm very tempted at these prices ($29 spot) but I'm already at 20% of my holdings in PM's. Not sure what to do.

For the past few years I have purchased a few Silver Maple Leafs at a time from the Royal Bank. This year I purchased $17.00 face value of pre '66 Canadian silver coins. I mostly received 50s and 60s quarters and dimes but also three fifty-cent pieces and two quarters from 1905.
I don't have tons of silver but I like to keep two year's worth of property tax stashed away. Lots of farms and homes were lost in the '30s for lack of tax money.

Your insight on tax coverage is one that is not often mentioned. It certainly would be prudent to aid additional funds to cover 1-2 years of property taxes to the financial prep list.
In regards to tax laws, I understand that the ability of private individuals of purchasing your tax debt, and being able to take over ownership, is much stricter in Canada than in the USA. Do you have any insights on this?
