After a few months in our new house, my wife started complaining about the taste and smell of the town's water. This gave me an opportunity to pull out the Berkey I had stashed away with other preps. We've been using it for a few weeks now and the water is great. We had a few spills from overfilling the upper chamber but learned how to manage the filtration system. In short, we love it. The only issue is that it's hard to properly keep the Berkey on the counter with the low spigot.

So... Wondering if you know where I could get a nice looking stand for the Berkey? I've found a nice 5" tall stainless wire stand on a website stateside for about $30 but shipping is a killer ($38).

We use a wooden stool. The counter was too high to easily fill the Berkey for me and everything else we tried was too low and you had to bend to get the water out. Thrift store find - much cheaper 🙂
