A friend of mine sent me this link today. It looks pretty impressive. I actually wouldn't mind owing one of these JIC.

5 Watt max under optimum conditions. $150
A 2 ft square solar panel is about the same. Maybe $50.

If staying put, ya use a panel. But, if bugging out, I would want the pot. Or for camping, survival situation... The pot can be used on fire too. I think it is a pretty brilliant idea.

it's a thermoelectric Peltier Plate that you can get for $10.00 that generates that power.
