I was going through the net and stumbled upon this article about the DOD new list of "extremist" groups. You might be surprised to know that Christians are now listed as "extremist" along with Al-Quada, the KKK, and others.

Christians have started a lot of wars over religion throughout history. Like anything, you will always have extremists. Some believe that if something is good than more of it must be better. They become encompassed and start to dislike others who don't share the same views. OCD to the extreme. No matter what you do, big brother is watching, extremist or not (some just get more attention than others).

Christians started alot wars? or the Catholic church? by the way the who financed most wars? I agree there's extremism in everything including greed, If the Gov't starts blanketing all christians as extreme does that constitute the start of Revelations? :ugeek:

It would seem that anyone who would formerly have been regarded as merely pious, is considered an 'extremist' . What about those who refuse to work with and vilify those who do not agree with them politically? I would consider them extreme, but then again I practice my faith, so by their definition I could be extreme. Silly word games. I find law enforcement's efforts to be 'proactive' good in some ways, but with the demise of common sense it is also alarming. I think I'll just keep a low profile...
