Thought I'd share this. Best to be conscious. Don't much enjoy the Toronto Star, what with it's hatred of the white hetero male, but what can I say, radioactive meltdown affects us all.

Great comment from Mr S Muir

“My gut instinct would be to get in the car and get away” if there was an accident, he said. “. . . But I know if everybody did that, there would be chaos in the streets. In terms of what to do exactly, I have no idea really.”

That's one of my biggest fears to prep for in southern Ontario, since that's where they (almost) all are. With the relatively recent discovery of fault lines under the lake, and the fact that Pickering sits directly on a fault line capable of a large earthquake, a northern bug-out seems a good idea (Except for the fact you'll have to drive into the eye of the storm before you get to any relative safety). The way winds blow, radiation from Pickering alone would probably leave southern Ontario/Niagara uninhabitable.
