In a nut shell, the Chinese government sees these recent shootings as a great way to apply public pressure to the U.S. to start imposing gun control laws.
I don't see it having any real impact, but to see China suggesting other countries should restrict gun ownership, is sure to ruffle some feathers.
Not to mention get the conspiracy theorists going about a Chinese Invasion.
Exactly so.......why would a country the other side of the planet have an interest in gun control if it wasn't for "future Plans"!?

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated
Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.
You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.
Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Sadly the gun debate taken in isolation just doesn't work. Anyone can take statisitcs, again in isolation and use them to "prove" a point. To attempt to compare U.S. society and Swiss society is like trying to compare Bengal Tigers to kittens. same species yes... similar society...not at all.

No matter what country or society you look at, the bad guys (and that applies to bad governments as well!) will always have access to weapons of all sorts and will use them to carry out their agenda, as usual the law abiding population will always be targeted because of just that...they are law abiding and play it by the rules.
Here is an analogy; if you decided that you were going to carry out a home invasion would you target the home that you KNOW has no form of defence or would you target the home that HAS the capability to defend itself? I know which one I would target!!
In one of the many US states that has approved C.C. the number of car jacking's has halved...why is that? Because the low life's of this world are most likely to find themselves looking down the barrel of a .45!
Its the old story...if you have a bigger stick then the chances are that the guy with the smaller stick will be targeted..My opinion for what its worth
