Smiling softly to myself. The warnings are all around us. We don't need to look at Government or big business to see what is happening to society. We can see it every day in multiple personal actions and interactions. People are being taught to be dependant.. to be helpless... to NOT think for themselves. In the end we cannot change the world nor what it is to become. We don't have the numbers or resources to even scratch the surface of that egg. What we can do is be aware. Plan for what might happen and in doing so preserve a little bit of us.. of what was... and what needs to "BE". When the wave comes... we can confront it head on... or we can take a path of least resistance that allows us to survive. A number of people here are religious.. some more so than others. They look to the Bible and Scripture for signs and help. Many have a confrontational mindset. Others plan to hide and develop insular societies. The Bible tells us many things yes... and one of them is to render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's. I do not agree with big Government nor what could potentially develop. What I do believe in .. again... is the concept of hiding in plane sight. They will want much... give them what you have to.. so long as you can maintain your core value. You WILL survive. Just some meanderings.
Well JAB at any point in our history I believe the warnings have been all around us. Is that God's Plan? Probably not. You are correct in your assessment of societies current trend. Generally, thinking people do not make the best consumers. So educate (train) them not to think for themselves. The corporations like it and the "government" loves it.
Maintaining our core values is truly the only hope. I enjoy your thoughts. However I have to disagree with you on one point. I do believe that we can change this direction. We each have a voice. Yes only one voice but together we have a chorus! Never underestimate the power of like minded people working together.
