No poll is perfect, but some may help others along. I did not get a high score except for the food, water and shelter category.

I agree that the poll is lacking a bit, but I must assume the questions were that of SoutherPrepper1 and Engineer775 of youtube since they are the "experts" for DDP. Whatever gets the word out though.

Although many people will say that it is not "relevant" for their situation however it is still a very useful tool. It sure points out areas of weakness in your plan. There are five categories, water, food, shelter, security and X factor. Not a bad poll really. Even for those who are concentrating on food and water it is a good exercise to take that part of the poll. It can be an eye opener in some cases. It sure picks out the weak areas in your overall plan. It was spot on with mine. I have always been aiming for self sufficiency however it indicated 24 months survival. Anyway a good tool for preppers to experiment with.

There's always one who gets 'The Good Score' 😉 Not pointing fingers at any one - 'teachers pet' now am I ICRCC
I 😉 will give ground and say that, 😯 that was the show that did get me to look 💡 on the 'WWW's google god' 💡 :geek: - to find this and other sites like this - so I am grateful for that. (theres no humble emotion on the list - so 😐 )
But I do not have any 😆 'Midget - Digets' 😆 and seeing how that show is ridiculed by many Down-Under, 😳 I don't openly publicise what I do now simply from the damage that show has caused down under!!! 😳 😳 ❗ ❗
So the show rated me 🙁 poorly due to it not catering for the tropical loc's 🙁 - which for those of us 😮 that are geographically handicapped, It is the big ring bit around the middle of our little planet. :ugeek: Likely affects a very high percentage of the worlds population. :ugeek:

So I fail to see how me stating my questionable  score would help anyone as nothing was tropical related - Did some one say the programs creators were into preparing??? 🙄
Another issue I now have is that I have switched my preparing to that of the original inhabitants down-under :geek: - who took over from an earlier group according to the rock art evidence (and new research) :geek: - how long did they survive for - Oh! I dunno :ugeek: tests so far have it at 50,000 plus years - we simply don't know and if they had taken over from a previous group or were the first human inhabitants here - the mind boggles at that thought ❗ ❗ ❗
For the record 😉 - they also would have failed on BOL, Bug out vehicle and pre stored provisions and three or four other questionable questions, so there score would of been maybe a bit worse than mine. 😉
Regardless of my inept score from these 'experts' I think I will continue along the path I have chosen. At least I know these methods have been proven and work. After a major event look me up - ➡ I'm in the 3rd 'Wiltija' on the left - if it's summer then I will be in my summer ‘gunya’ ➡ the 7th ‘gunya’ on the right half way up the hill - look fwd to y'alls visit!!
💡 Will put anutha roo on the barbie 💡 .
 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

FNQ you may not have scored too well on that poll which as you say was not intended for you environment but you just won the prize for most smilies in a single post. Well done. If there is another post with as many smilies I must have missed it. 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

Thank you I will take that honour, with 😳 humility. 😎
It helps ease the wound of the scummy score i was given on that other poll created by "experts".

The creators are not the experts. The experts Analise preppers at the end of the show. SouthernPrepper1 and Engineer775 (my favorite) are VERY prepared and were featured on the pilot episode. I suggest looking up Engineer775 videos on youtube. He has a generator that runs on wood, his truck also runs on wood. He does things with wood heat, water etc. I know there are smart people on this forum but this guy IS the best IMO. SouthernPrepper1 is tactical.

Engineer775 has done what I wish to achive. I look up to him and envie him. He has a workable Gasifier for his truck and I beileve he made another one recently just for the generator.

Fair enough - It would be a benefit to some - I confess it was the reason I looked for sights like this. So I shouldn't be to harsh on em!!
(except to the bloke with the 'Midget-Diget' he's fair game in my book now).

Ya the guy who blew his finger off is a ...knob? Some people pass out over tiny injuries it seems. Yeah it was probably painful but some of the most nasty things I have seen guys have stayed conscious for during and after.

That's what happens when you handle firearms improperly. I hope that graphical message reinforced the message that it is a MUST to learn how to safely handle firearms BEFORE you purchase or attempt to practice with one.

Same goes for crossbows, I have been told the string can lop off a finger easily when firing.
