I've posted this link to an article about Dec 21 in France that appeared on our local and world news page today because it got me thinking about what authorities around the globe may do or are planning to prevent believers & general citizens from taking refuge and attempt control in a SHTF situation......

Honestly, I get it.
There will undoubtedly be a lot of people who actually believe all the hype trying to converge here.
Who knows what these people would do when they believe that the world is about to end and that there would be no consequences.
I think that Dec.21 is going to be a historic day, just from the actions of all those believers.
If you allow thousands of people to converge in one place to survive what they believe is the end of the world, could you just imagine how they will all be acting to get their spot on the safe zone?
And then when the world doesn't end....well I don't even want to think about what they may do then!
Agreed... regardless of what, or may not happen, chaos and hysteria will be created in some places.

I have read a few newspaper articles where parents are planning on murder/suicide for the whole family a day or 2 before the 21st. Government is trying to decide if they should step in and take the kids. Sorry I can't post the link from my phone.

I don't think we can ever finish prepping ICRCC...especially as we don't know exactly what situation we are prepping for!

That's terrible 🙁 A shame they cannot put their thoughts and energy into planning for survival instead.

I'm not sure how I feel about that really. If I were one of those people who believed that was a safe zone and the world was going to... I donno, implode or explode except for that one place, I might be a little irate with the guy standing in between me and my 'safe zone'. At the very least I hope those guys working that beat on that day get some decent hazard pay.

While I personally do not believe for one minute that the world as we know it will come to an end on Dec 21st, I am under no illusion that the woodwork holds countless David Karesh's, Jim Jones's and the likes that will come forth on or before this date /// I am also concerned & wary of the mulitudes of those that expound a "scew it" mentality that may feel that if it's all going to end, might as well go out with a bang & create havoc for the rest of us /// For this reason alone 1 year ago I booked 3 of my 4 weeks of vacation time from Dec 10th through Jan 2nd
