I tend not to mix the two with others, as they have a tendency to be mighty explosive subjects.

As to your question if peppers are a religious lot..I think you might be safe to say yes..they religiously keep prepping/putting back.
As to 'our' beliefs... well I believe and i can only speak for myself, that if I don't put back/prep religiously, I will be royally.....ummm ...in trouble with the next event and not prepare to meet it.

If you read through the posts on this forum you will find that preppers run the whole gamut of both political ideologies and religious beliefs or absence thereof. Not to mention there are preppers from every ethnic background.
Everyone has their personal reason for prepping however we all share the belief that it is better to be prepared for whatever life may throw your way.
I was told by my dear belated father, that there are two things that you never discus in public, 1 religion, 2 politics. Not unless you wish to cause a fight or ruin a good party. Both are good only to reduce the population thru war.

As I've said elsewhere here, I'm Catholic and I don't adhere to any particular political party, or even system (although there's a few I would definitely rule out). When it comes time to vote I weigh the issues that are most fundamental and try to vote, to the best of my knowledge, for the one who seems to most nearly promote Christian values.
As for my religious view it most definitely shapes my prepping because I believe that the multiple crises that we are facing are brought on by our sins (and I include mine in that as well as all the notorious Catholic sinners who are continually being exposed). I believe that what is soon to come upon the earth is the fruit of our collective sins and that no matter how hard we prep, unless and until we are ready to amend our lives thouroughly, it will be to little avail. Therefore I am spiritually prepping to try to amend my life at the same time I physically prep. And, I would like to add, I don't necessarily think that God is going to spare me for that reason, I might very well go down with the first wave, or even before it... maybe even tonight!
