Hi all,
I'm hoping Gen Discussion is a good place to open a discussion toward building a Group of Preppers in the Niagara Area. I'm getting quite concerns about two areas, one being Unstable and growing threats toward a North American EMP attack; and Financial collapse within NA.
There fore I'm here in the hope on learning more about Survival in either situation as well as building a more local group of Southern Ontario Preppers should such an emergency become reality. It's great to pack a bug-out bag. Do all the learning possible with regard to Survival..but once your out the door it would be far better to be involved with a group than walk alone.
So, I'm interested in discussion from all who may have the same interest as well as others who have done this already and can add their thoughts on how best to go about building a local Survival Group...
One problem with southern Ontario is perhaps the possibility of the nuclear power plants going critical if th power grid goes down. Southern Ontario is nice but that concerns me.

Hello OP
Southern Ontario is, by foot, way too big. Niagara is a more manageable area and its got a couple unique benefits.
Learn to sail.
If you are going out the door, head for the harbour and use the only mode of transport that's not congested.
All routes are "protected by a Moat" and your destination is up to you.
