I fell on this,and can't find again(computer skill suck)
but had to share
a chap went to the dollar store and bought women's make up remover pads
then dip in hot wax leaving some cotton uncoated
so that the flint would catch the cotton
they burnt great
tip is don't coat the hole pad and just dip the pad in hot wax
underwater is safer than land
I preffer dryer lint, does the same when dipped in wax but its free 🙂

Agree with CSG and the added bonus is they come in beautiful multicolour depending on the batches of laundry and which one of my wife's sweater I accidentally shrink in the dryer...
