Can't say I've ever looked for one. But I'm adding things to my "jacket kit" and the bandanna looks like a good all around thing to have that doesn't weigh alot. I'd like one that's a decently rugged material and probably 36" by 36". Anyone know a source? I'm in Calgary.
You may be able to find some of the white "rags" at either an automotive store or gun supply store that carries large cleaning cloths.
36x36 is big and you're going to pay out the nose for it, but we've ordered some from this site and they're okay:

I've got regular Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby 22x22 and 27x27 bandanas that I carry in my coat pockets, truck console and a couple of bags, some color-person coordinated 16x16 and 18x18 hankies from Wal-Mart and Lord & Taylor. I don't know if you have any of those locally. I also have a big kufiyah cloth (Middle Eastern head blanket thingy) that's about 40x45 or 40x48 in my bag and truck, and it covers pretty much any "big" need I could have. It's light weight, rolls tight, the tight weave offers some decent warmth in winter and wind as either a head wrap, around a hat, or as a scarf but still does a good job as a sweat absorber and shading the neck when it's under or a ball cap. One I came home with, one I ordered off Amazon.
I bought one of these at the Toronto sportsman show. Very versatile.

The site also contains a video that demonstrates it's many configurations.
i just goggled shemaghs calgary.there were several, might want to try crown surplus by kanes harley Davidson calgary.
TIP: If you use a bandanna in lieu of toiler paper, remember to rinse it thoroughly and not wear it around your forehead (it tends to attracts flies and repels your friends). LOL
None you improvise, one (or more) is luxury.
Dollar store sells camo ones, just sayin...
