Thats an easy question.
I would put it towards the cost of a deep well hand pump and some spare parts for it, that I have already save some $'s for.

We can live without a lot of things, but not without water. 🙂

Hey OldTimeGardener - have you done any research on which pump to get?? could be another thread but I am interested in the answer!

Anita, I came up with the Bison pump after a lot of research.
Friendly information came back and a willingness to help, right from the first email. No pushy stuff either. lol I look at those things before dealing with businesses.
If they get pushy, I tend to run in the other direction...hey but that's just me. 😉

I answered what they need to know about the well and they came back with exactly what I needed and the cost.
I also dug up feedback from others that have/use the pump and there was nothing but good said about it.

For a stainless steel pump that will give water even down to -40 C or F and not a lot to go wrong with it, to me its well worth the money.
AND it can go in along side the pump thats already down there, so another big plus to me.
Hope that helps.

I didn't include name of pump in post cause I was not sure I was allowed to. For being new, I didn't want to start with getting my hands slapped and told to stand in the corner. lol

I'd be buying some wheat kernals from a mill just north of London. Arva mills, i contacted them and they have bulk prices depending on the amount.

I just put what was left of my 'bonus' ($1400) onto the line of temptation... I mean line of credit. I suppose that if I look back at the most recent purchases we've made, it works out to our portable water filtration equipment we bought.

I keep thinking that I have to keep that debt down... balance rational vs irrational fear. How soon do I really need something?
