Since it seems that a lot of people that are new ask the same questions, which is a good thing btw, I decided to use that as a way to "practice" for going back to work. I think I have spent about 2 hours this morning trying to work my way through the "barter" type threads. Items that would be of use after the SHTF. I haven't made a dent in the information that has been posted. I hope tomorrow to "finish" the "barter" type items and start on bug out bags & first aid kits. I must say all your ideas have surprised me. I think the info on this spreadsheet is from 4 threads only. It is enough to make my head spin. I can't imagine what it would do to someone that is just starting out.

I was thinking that after I get all of the "lists" done, maybe all of the threads could be moved into one with the spreadsheets being the first post in the thread. This way as new ideas are added, the spreadsheet can be updated.
