This idea came from what Henry said in another thread... We all make mistakes and can learn from them... If you feel inclined, post your mistakes, or near-mistakes for the benefit of others.
Some of my mistakes:
1 Buying a solar oven - it's more fartin' around than I realized, and if it goes cloudy on ya, you'll have to figgur somethin out for that half cooked chick'n.
2 Berkey water filter - yes, I'm second guessing it as I saw reasonable questions raised about where the filters are made (ie China suspected). If suspicions are correct, could be contaminated.
3 Flapping my lips to a couple whom I've had a falling out with. Thanks be to God I didn't go any further than just generally voicing my opinion that it's important to have some extra food on hand. Bad enough though.
Berkey Filters , made in China ?
I was going to buy one this December. Sounds like I need todo more research.
We need more information on this issue .
I don't have a solar oven, as I had wondered about lack of sun on cloudy, rainy
and snowy winter days.
