Bee Keeper, we have a need for mead.
Glass blower, Make a bottle to keep my mead and a glass vessel, to drink from. I’m tired of pottery.
Stone mason, I have a need of a mantle for my hearth.
Geologist, could you show us where the nickel, iron and gold be hiding. 😀
Foundry man, please separate, and purify the metals.
Machinist, machine the holes and cut the sides to make it true.
Mechanical Design Engineering staff, design what is needed.
Structural, Hyraulic and Civic Engineers make our town safe.

With all those that have been mentioned, we have about 75 people, not counting apprentices and family. 😯 😈

A brewmaster, a distiller and a bee keeper walk into a bar. 🙄 TEOTWAWKI is starting to sound more and more like partytime. WooHoo, count me in. 😀

This one might sound a little odd at first but what about flying skills? I don't mean the big 747 type of craft more like bush and float planes. Could be really useful I think.

OMG nurse, I don't know how we could have missed that one. It would be a very important skill indeed. Thanks DiamonJ.

Ranger are you suggesting that after STTF we would require shoomeries? We could add a shommerist the list of "useful" skills if you like. 😆

I don't see how all of these skills and trades are going to come together since we are so few and the skills are spread across the country.

There is method in my madness. We have developed, I believe, a fairly comprehensive list of skills. Still can't figure out how we missed nurse though, thanks again DiamondJ. The next step is to divide these skills into maybe three groups; critical, important and useful. Actually it would be nice to have criteria on which to base the determination but perhaps that is not necessary. Then once we have that we can move to the next steps.

Think someone mentioned a vet. Veterinarians are for animals but they could be useful for humans as well.
