I'm a federal prison guard, I worked in a Max for almost ten years and now work in a medium security. The contingency plans are all the same, let them out and recapture later. If a person is incarcerated in a federal pen there is a reason for it. By the time they work their way there they've burned all their bridges. They have issues with moral decisions, there is no doubt about that. I've been through several riots, even one out in the public. When there is a mob anything goes, filters, moral standings everything is out the window. Normal everyday people become very violent and dangerous. I've seen what people are capable of, I've seen inmates murdered. It's not the murdering that bothers me so much as the coldness, without hesitation or thought that bothers me. People are capable of very evil acts. The "Girl next door" or the Church Elder or his wife will become very angry and maybe violent if someone stands between them and their survival i.e. food, warmth, etc

Let them out? What a joke. Then again I am somehow not surprised since we are a sissy society where everyone no matter how crappy deserves 30 chances.

Thanks JimyB,

I try. I am still learning how-to make my blog better. I may have to learn that HTML code stuff, not so sure I am ready for that yet, lol.

Cheers,

Mountainman.
