ranger2012 - good idea on the whole spices...what was I thinking 🙂
I was checking out the cdn tire website for a food saver with the air hose attachment but none of them clearly indicated that they had one. I'll have to go into the store and hope the box is more clear.
If one of you have a model number, that would be appreciated in advance!
The hoses and attachments are usually purchased separately. You don't need the hose unless you have an attachment. I bought mine a few years ago so that probably wont help you. I didn't see the attachments at CT. You may need to purchase them somewhere else.

Try Home Hardware website. I seem to recall seeing something like that there.
my vacuum sealer (like most newer ones) came with a small hose and had the port for it on the machine...I purchased the vacuum lid upstairs at BassPro by their dehydrating/canning supplies.
my other grandmother had drinking glasses with the suits of playing cards on them - I don't know what those jars held but as kids we would fight over who got to use them
As I read this I was just thinking about those glasses. My grandmother, too, had a complete set and we, too, used to argue over who got one. Peanut butter used to come in them. I learned a lot of of my frugality from my grandmother.
