Have you spoken with your MD about your needs and concerns? That would be the best place to start. Secondly if you have a drug plan even if you get "extra" prescriptions they won't cover the overage so you will have to pay out of pocket. Just my thoughts.

1. Lie to your Doctor. Pill bottle dropped in the toilet. Went on vacation and left the pill bottle behind. Pill bottle left in the car, pills melted (or froze?)

Not sure how to regulate the dosage without a blood test.

Some doctors might be willing to give you an "emergency" stockpile script, but I haven't come across too many. At most, they might only give you a month or so. My mum has some meds for blood pressure, and she tried to get an extra script while she went out of country for a while to cover until she came home, and even that was a pain in the neck.

Can anyone suggest a way that I might stock up on a prescription drug? Also remember most store bough food, is pretty much dead so a deficiency could be the problem.

Unfortunately all the prepping in the world isn't going to keep me alive without one little pill a day. Thyroxine. My thyroid is dead and I would be too without my meds.
My doctor prescribes me a yearly dosage but no extra's. It's tough to stock pile when you need each little tablet prescribed.
Suggestions Please?

What I've done is I met 2 different doctor. The second one was a travel agency doctor and he gave me, on the spot, 6 months supply cause I told him I was going outside of the country.........
