Just thought I'd share this with the ladies...and the men who care for the ladies in their lives 🙂

Regarding monthly sanitation necessities, these may be of interest as they last for years saving the need to prep in this department.

Check it out http://www.mooncup.co.uk/

I have been using this for years and I seriously forget it is that time of the month and no longer have to waste money on alternatives and don't need to prep or store win win all round 😉

Hi Cares,

Thank you for the post. I am new today, but would like to add that the product you mentioned is great and helps many. Goddess Moons are another option, for those that want something external.

I've been using the DivaCup for the last 3 months, and I love it. I found there to be somewhat of a learning curve to get it to work the way you want it to, but after that it's been smooth sailing. Knowing I don't have to stock up on feminine products for SHTF is a huge relief as I can use that money for other preps, as well as not use up valuable storage space in my small home. Plus, a Cup in our BOB's rather than a whole bunch of product is nice too!

I second the DivaCup!! I've been using it for three years now, before and after my first baby and I'm loving it just more and more. SO nice knowing that if SHTF I won't be scrambling for "supplies" and having to dispose of them. Also, wicked good for not attracting wild animals. I've put this thing to the test too (horseback riding, climbing, swimming, running after a toddler...) and it's just been amazing. No issues at all. Very comfy. While I agree that there is a bit of a learning curve, once you have it, you've got it! Although it's thinking WAY ahead, I've already got one packed for my DD. Just in case.
