why do you ask?
Curious cos I just found out that's why I can't eat most grains. (I've known for a while that all fruit, all vegies, nuts, seeds,a little meat and a little rice were about the only things I could tolerate well - and now I know why)

The follow is the best web site I have found for celiac disease.
Anyone who can not have wheat not just for celiacs.
Thank you Oldschool.

Paleo diet is reported as helping greatly for sufferers of celiac.
Thanks Perfesser. I had a look at Paleo diet once before after you mentioned it a while back.....I'm kinda doing it now (except I don't eat enough meat 😳 ). I seem to do OK usually but apparently there is gluten in tinned baked beans which has been causing a few problems (& licorice ) - so back to being good again and preparing my own baked beans. Can't eat chocolate, cheese or bloody licorice ....what's left that is slightly wicked?

Not necessarily Celiac disease, but I can't eat wheat as it gives me migraines. The list of minor side effects is really quite long as there are some that they refuse to consider as possibilities.
The difference between a man and a warrior is simple, a warrior will stand between harm and all others.

Check out almond flour. It ain't cheap, but almond flour cookies are pretty good!
I have a mother-in-law that is celiac and a wheat sensitive son. I've heard that the huge increase in wheat allergies is due to genetically modified monocultures of wheat. Back in the day, each farmer saved his own seeds, so each farmer had different varieties and the average person was eating many different types of wheat. Now, all those family farms have become one giant corporate megafarm that is planting roundup-ready monsanto wheat. No more variety, and the genetic modification is hard on the body.
