Hello all, and greetings from soggy Manitoba!

I'm new to the whole prepping thing, but find most of the literature I can find on it fascinating reading, and devour anything and everything I can get my hands on from dry, factual manuals to the diatribes, rantings and frothing from all orifices that some of the more adamant doomsayers indulge in.

My personal prep work so far is minimal at best (2 flats of bottled water and a half completed first aid kit) but I've been inspired to continue to work on it, and make some progress towards having not only the stuff I need but workable emergency plans ranging from "My apartment building got evacuated" to "Full on zombie apocalypse incoming!" I look forward to learning from all the far more experienced people who frequent here, as well as eventually coming up with my own contributions!
